The name that has been associated with good oral care products for a very long time. It was back in 1919 when New Zealand-born Alex Maclean set up Macleans Ltd to manufacture his own name products for chemists. In 1927 he formulated Macleans Peroxide Toothpaste - it was the launch of the very first whitening toothpaste.
