British Society for the Study of Prosthetic Dentistry One of the oldest of the specialist dental societies in the UK and was founded in 1953. The worldwide membership now numbers over 450. Our members have always been at the forefront of scientific, clinical and academic dentistry. The Society is established to advance education in prosthetic dentistry for the benefit of the public. It aims to promote and carry out or assist in promoting and carrying out research, surveys and investigations in prosthetic dentistry and the publication of such works.
