The successor to the Journal of the Pierre Fauchard Academy which was published during World War II primarily for PFA members in the Armed Forces of the United States. In 1978 and 1979 Dental World was published under the title of PFA Newsletter. In 1980 the title of Dental World was readopted and it is the official publication of the Pierre Fauchard Academy.
